Individual Counseling Referrals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands counseling services focus specifically on healing from the trauma of sexual assault and abuse. Often clients will already have an established relationship with a therapy provider, and services at STSM are intended to compliment the work which may be addressing issues other than the sexual assault. All STSM counseling services are available at no-cost because of generous support from our community. Please download and complete our referral form to start the referral process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Group Therapy Referrals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n For a client to attend a support group at STSM, the client must be actively involved in individual counseling with either a private therapist, STSM therapist, or another service provider. If a client is not currently in treatment with an individual therapist, the client may contact STSM to schedule an appointment with a counselor to begin individual counseling. STSM will assess the client for group readiness at that time and, if found appropriate for group, will be assigned a start date. Groups start at a variety of times throughout the year. Please download and complete our referral form to start the referral process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To Refer a Client For Services<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n To refer a client for services, complete the provider referral form below and fax it to our main office at 803-790-8282 to the attention of the Director of Therapy. Your client will be contacted according to the information listed on the referral form.
